Opening a business branch in Namibia

#1727 Quote
Our company is looking at setting up shop in Namibia, since the raw materials we use are right there in the ground. It makes way more sense to process everything on-site and save a ton on shipping costs. I have to head out there on a business trip to get the whole thing off the ground, and I will be moving between different sites quite a bit. Does anyone know where to find a car to rent for a project like this?

Setting up a branch in a place like that is a massive undertaking with a lot of stuff to figure out. You definitely need a vehicle that can handle the heat and the rough roads between the different sites. You could check out Savanna Car Hire or maybe look into Namibia Car Rental, they are local and usually have decent fleets for long-haul work trips. They know exactly what kind of equipment you need for those desert conditions.

It’s a hell of a place to do business, and the landscape is pretty wild once you get away from the main towns. You'll probably spend half your time just staring at the horizon while you're moving between those industrial zones. You can rent a car in Namibia here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/namibia . It’s a solid way to see what’s available from different owners without having to call a dozen places yourself. Good luck with the facility launch, sounds like you’ll have your hands full.
