I’ve been thinking about this lately because on most sites, safety is always talked about but not always followed properly. Everyone knows PPE and procedures are important, but deadlines usually take priority.

From what I’ve seen, poor planning is a big reason behind unsafe conditions. When work isn’t properly scheduled or coordinated, it creates unnecessary risks for everyone on site.

I recently read something on improving construction site safety that explained how better planning and management can actually reduce risks without slowing things down. It made a lot of sense, especially the part about coordination and workflow.

Worth a read if you're dealing with similar issues.

Would be good to hear how others handle this on their projects, especially when deadlines are tight.
